In our Youth and Family Services, we help parents and young people who are striving to become healthy and restore their relationships. We work in partnership with human services, child welfare systems, juvenile courts, and community-based providers so that together, we can help individuals and families obtain the services and skills they need to live in positive, healthy ways.

We are currently looking for full-time – Supervisor
Starting at $69,500– $71,000 contingent upon experience, education, etc.

Summary: The Supervisor will ensure clients receive the highest continuity of care based on evidence-based research, treatment modalities, addiction intervention, AODA counseling, recovery support services and best practices by assisting in the development and implementation of, policies, and strategic goals of the agency and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the needs of our clients are met/maintained on an individual basis. This position supervises a team of Case Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to day activities of the vase management and office staff assigned to the designated program(s).
  • Serve as direct liaison to Administrator for program related needs and operational issues
  • Participate in work groups as assigned
  • Establish work schedules for assigned staff and provide direct coverage when necessary
  • Prepare, interpret and present reports regarding program operations and assist the Administrator in the evaluation of service and utilization of resources
  • Adhere to service hour protocol established by the agency
  • Participate in the review of staff performance and the completion of annual performance appraisals.
  • Perform routine quality improvement activities
  • Assist in assurance that staff training needs are met through development and implementation of programs needed
  • Provide guidance and support in resolving crisis situations with clients
  • Assure compliance with agency policies and procedures
  • Provide direct services to alcohol and drug dependent clients as necessary
  • Provide representation and consultation with other outside professionals to facilitate coordination, collaboration and cooperation between the agency and the community

Our Ideal candidate:

  • Master’s degree
  • Valid driver's license
  • CADC certification within two years of employment with TASC may be required based on contractual obligations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated experience in group facilitation
  • Knowledge of the current ASAM placement criteria, DSM-V as it relates to substance-related disorders, and Code of Ethics for substance abuse professionals, or the ability to acquire the knowledge
  • Comfort working inside a correctional setting and with persons convicted of serious violent offenses
  • Flexibility in thinking and approaches to leading group discussions
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
